Our to-go section has changed-no more "quick exits" for the weekend. We headed to Cannon Beach for the 4th to beat the heat wave in Portland. Note all the gear for 2 days, and find Daddy loading his surfboard in the background...

Tiny head, big head.

Auntie KK made this top for Sunny--she'll only fit into it for a little while longer. She FINALLY surpassed her birth weight yesterday. She's now 8 pounds, 1 ounce. Yay! She's becoming a good little eater, though falling BACK asleep after the "every 2 hours" feedings is tough. We're happy but really sleepy parents.

Max has been teaching Sunny some mixed martial arts moves. This one is "Flying Froggie."

This is "Fist of Fury."
that one of her asleep on max's shoulder is too sweet!
ReplyDeleteyes, the weekend get-away takes a teensy bit more forethought and packing now, huh? ;) i know how that goes!

love the eyes in the "fists of fury" shot! I'm sure you always wondered why, when we came home for a visit, we had the entire 4 runner jam-packed with stuff, now you know! There's so many essential things that a wee one needs! Glad to hear you had a great getaway...we're so very anxious to see you all in just a few days! Love you all more than you'll ever know!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the updates...she changes every time. Thanks for the special surprise Sunday night. I loved every minute of it! It will be so much fun when Jess and kiddos are down.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet is she, I hope you are enjoying your family!
ReplyDeleteLook at that belly! I'm guessing little Sunny is overcoming her weight issues?
