A Merry Christmas Day

Santa brought Sunny a rocket - maybe to start a new Christmas tradition? So we headed out into the sunshine with Uncle Scott, launched Sunny's rocket from a park, and tracked it down in a nearby home's front yard after the wind blew it 1/2 mile off course. (At 1000 ft, it deploys a parachute for its return to earth.) So, we of course launched it again from a different park...and recovered it easily. I hope these rockets get bigger and go higher each Christmas.
Our little rocketeer.
Pre-launch (maiden voyage) @ Lunchtime, our neighborhood disc golf course
A special cuddle.
Lovin' on Uncle Scott, who celebrated with us, his Portland family.

Sunny needed a nap halfway through presents...so much to see and do.

Our Santa Baby quickly figured out that the goal was to find and taste as much tissue paper as possible.
