Kicking Off the Holidays

I love this pic of Sunny and the boys: Uncle LJ, Daddy and Cousin Noah.

Sunny's first Thanksgiving had a New Orleans theme and lots of sparkly decorations.

Playing with Grandma...learning how to "lunge" forward onto her tummy. When her toys are just beyond reach, she'll switch positions to grab them.

Off on an adventure with the Boreings...We went to Al's Garden Center to enjoy the decorations and find the perfect poinsettias.
Next we headed deeper into Sherwood to Sunny Day Tree Farm, found by Nauntie! http://www.sunnydaytreefarm.com/ . With a name like that, we had to go. We found and cut 2 great trees.

The Boreing family and Sunny.
Sunny loves to play with Daddy's hair. She's very dexterous now, and seems to understand "gentle."Sunny's inward breathing sounds keep cracking us up. She sounds like she's croak-gasping, and it gets us all laughing. She's delighted that her sounds repertoire continues to expand.
Teething for sure this time, Sunny can't get enough of her Sophie chew toy.
First close encounter with goats...Sunny's lower lip trembled a bit at first, but she felt safe in Grandpa's arms as the furry friends came up to investigate Santa-Baby.
Playing Dreidel with Nauntie and Daddy.

We're all decorated and feeling festive.

We created a new game: wagon plus caboose. Our two Sunnys loved it.
