Max took Columbus Day off to hang with us girls. We all went to the Oregon Zoo. We saw sun bears, hippos, polar bears, monkeys, lions and more...but Sunny's favorite animal seemed to be a social Asian elephant. It could have been the elephant's size, proximity, or activities near us, but Sunny couldn't look away as it felt all the bushes with its trunk. Maybe it was our long day - Sunny's had a rough, fussy night so far. It's tough, but we steel ourselves to let Sunny cry in bed for at least 15 minutes before one of us goes in. It's a LONG 15 minutes for us. Then we silently pick her up so she knows we're still around, but we don't talk with her (Brian shared this tip) so she won't feel rewarded for fussing. Then we set her back down and she typically falls asleep. But not tonight! Kelly went back in and rocked her until she was too worn out to cry any more. What an amazing Nauntie!

Love her little fall outfit and Sebastian loved the fact that Miss Sunny Bunny was sitting on a bike, vrroomm! So great to "see" you guys tonight, can't wait to snuggle that sweetie! Love you all!
