Showered with Love and Support!

We're amazed and touched by all the excitement our friends and family share about meeting little Sunny. We were so lucky to have special baby shower celebrations at Omi and Papa Lee Kwai's house in Canby (co-hosted by our amazing sister Jessi) and at Popo and Daddo's house in Portland (co-hosted by our other incredible sister Jodie and our beautiful niece, Corinne). Thank you to all the friends and family who joined us to celebrate! Your love, support and generosity are incredible. It was the perfect weekend. My sister Kelly came up from Eugene to join in the fun and support us, though she's throwing her own shower (with my mom, Sharon) for us soon. Wow!
The duck cake at Omi and Jessi's shower was pretty and delicious! All of the food was made by family and friends. Grandma Gwen went over extra early to help make sure all was perfect.

Max, me, Kelly, Sebastian (our nephew), Jessi and Omi (plus Papa and our niece Halle, behind the camera) had a super fun time in Canby. The sun was out and the weather was warm!


Halle, the cutie who helped us decide to start a family, helped me unwrap gifts.


At Popo, Jodie and Corinne's shower, friends brought delicious treats and the house was decorated with sweet little outfits for our Sunny.

Popo even thought to recognize my mom, who couldn't make it up from Arcata, CA, with this framed photo of the two of us!
