Max Begins Baby-Proofing

Max is totally on top of baby safety issues. Over two weekends (classic Max speed) he designed and installed new decking to shrink the size of our back yard fish pond. See his faithful Shop Kitty looking on? We referred to the pond as a "death trap" because we found one thirsty squirrel who'd met sad, wet end in it last summer. The pond perimeter now sports a clever and removable pipe-based rail system that's securely bolted. Don't worry about the safety rail's minimalist looks-there are also vertical supports and sturdy side panels of fencing not shown. It's worthy of the mightiest big-wheel ramming. Special design note: Max increased the width of the far side of the deck so the same big-wheel and driver can safely burn tight laps around the pond. Talk about early preparation--awesome.
