Project Buddy

My little munchkin grabbed her gardening gear: she was ready to help plant our first flowers of 2011.
Double-fisting her shovels, Sunny determined the pot needed some prep work: she poked and tapped the plants to make sure they were ok.

She carefully watered in the yellow ranunculus flowers that we added to the pots.
Here she's saying, "Ta-da! Magic!" since we're done with the transformation.
On another chilly day, Sunny was Max's project buddy as he installed raised planters for our new front yard veggie garden.
Sunny was keen to learn the names of all the tools used. "What's that sound?" she'd ask.
It's hard to wear ear protection when your cheeks are huge.
"Mama, look what I found. It's a rock." And then she launched it about 8 feet with her little arm. Max thinks she'll throw a football like I can. Thanks, Dad (Grandpa)!
"Let's see, um, what other projects?"
Then she swept off the deck. I got a cute video of her laughing as she swept my legs.
Refueling.
"Mama, look. Sunny planted flowers. So pretty. This one's just a baby," (talking about a bud).
